Hello everyone and welcome to my blog where I will be sharing my passions, hobbies and interests.
I currently live in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates but originally hail from the UK.
Over the last few years I have been lucky enough to pursue some of my passions as my job and teach others how to do it, namely embroidery and quilting.
In the course of my work, I have been blessed in meeting so many lovely ladies from all over the world who share the same heady excitement and enthusiasm as me for their passions.
Many of these women (some I haven’t actually met yet, and they will know who they are…) are also my inspiration to take my art further and to try and reach the stars.
To you all, I am in awe.
Love and joy to you all.
Chrissie Ryder

  1. I have registered my email address to follow your blog Christine. How exciting for you. Your artistry is so vastly abundant.

  2. I look forward to it. Your talents are lovely. I admire the patience it takes too. SomethingbI have neither of. I have patience with everything and everyone but lose focus quickly when it is just me.

  3. Hi Chrissie: I was happy to see your blog note in my email this morning. I signed up to follow you. I like to view blogs from other quilters in different parts of the world. Hence, I asked for a swap partner from another country! I just received my Mug Rugs from my secret partner and I posted them on my blog, http://www.quiltingforme.blogspot.com . I’m new to the blog scene but I am giving it a go.

    • Hi Duane
I’m so pleased you stopped by to take a look. I’m new to blogging too and very much enjoying sharing with and hearing from other like minded folk :)I loved that you put up your mug rugs, they’re beautiful. I love to see how people interpret designs. I also loved all your Christmas stuff, awesome. I’ve signed up to follow your blog, but I can’t work out how to leave a comment on it. Am I being stupid? Have a fab week end. Chrissie x

  4. Following your blog Chrissie -did C&G a few years ago and loved it, your headline chichak/ghecko caught my eye, I was also an expat for many years, gave me the time and space for creativity! Will watch with interest, Hanneke

    • Hi Hanneke.
